Arts Council of Wales

The Arts Council of Wales is an Assembly sponsored Public Body and a registered charity. We are also a distributor of National Lottery funding.  Our vision is a dynamic and creative arts sector for Wales.

We aim to create the climate and conditions that motivate and develop the artistic talents of the nation; that enable new ventures and new artists to flourish; and that produce a diverse range of artistic experiences that stimulate, provoke and inspire audiences at home and abroad.

We are determined to maximise the contribution the arts make to people's quality of life, to the aspirations and confidence of communities across Wales, and to the prosperity and health of the nation as a whole.
